360000 Brass (360) is highly machinable, primarily due to the lead content. As such it is commonly used for fasteners (bolts, screws etc) as well as auto parts, sensor bodies etc. It produces great finsihes and is very durable for a material of this strength. It’s a soft, ductile metal that machines quite easily. It is utilized in general screw machine applications as well as high volume production. 360’s excellent machinability rating of 100%, allows it to be used at the highest capacities of any screw machine work.
